The Greeters

Simon Hallé

I was born and raised in Sherbrooke. It’s where I spent all my life, aside from a brief stint in Montreal for work.

Over the course of my 31-year career as a federal civil servant specialized in immigration and 35 years of military service with the regiment Les fusiliers de Sherbrooke, I’ve experienced a lot and faced all kinds of situations, both here and elsewhere.

For me, Sherbrooke is not only a good place to live, but also a city filled with a host of hidden gems. You just need to look around! I just LOVE my city and enjoy introducing it to visitors.

I love people from here and all around the world, and I’m often told that I’m the humanist type. Throughout my career, I met all kinds of people with a variety of interests. My early education and life experience helped me adapt very easily to anyone I interact with. In short, I love being with the public!

Although I’m not specialized in one field, I have broad general knowledge that will most likely help make your guided downtown tour most enjoyable!

Welcome to Sherbrooke!
